  1. I'm assuming you're in the UK.  I don't ski, but a number of my family do and they always used to go to either France or Austria.  The last few ski trips, however, have been to Bulgaria, because they found their money went much further and the ski-ing left nothing to complain about. They range from an expert ski-er down to beginners.  I've added a link below for you to take a look.

  2. MIlton Keynes.

  3. Banff area of Canada, although a bit late now....good in winter though.

  4. Cheapest doesn't always mean best, but if you are a beginner maybe that's not so important. Andorra is cheap in Europe but it has LONG transfer times from airport to resort. (4 hours ish). Bulgaria and Rumania are cheap. I ski-ed in Bulgaria, at Pamporovo. It's not very challenging for experts, but as a beginner it was fine for me!

  5. Winter time.

  6. around about the Praque area you can get some really really chepa flights out there. my work colleague went out there for £17

or in this country you can go and build up your confidence on a dry ski slope in Telford

  7. Depends on where you are, who you're going with (by yourself, with other beginners or with a mixed level of skiers).  I love Sunday River.   Great deals midweek (ski-in, ski-out), 3 miles from one end to the other.  A good variety of terrain.    Lots of folks from the UK go there.

Gore mountain in NY is a hidden gem  Owned by the state of NY, its lift ticket prices have usually been better than average.

This is a tough question to answer, you didn't provide enough info.

  8. The cheapest resorts can be found in Bulgaria and it is a great place for beginners to learn!! Or head to Andorra.

The best place to go in France, I think, is Tignes which is in the same region as Val d'isere, but better skiing!!! It is a difficult resort and it's ok for beginners. If you are a beginner in Tignes you don't need a lift pass for the first couple of days!!!

You really will have the best time! I absolutley love it and try and go 3 times during the season. It's just fantastic!!
