Where's the modem on old (1997) laptop?

Hi all,I just bought an old used laptop, a Compaq Armada 1130T, for an elderly friend who wants to try the Web but doesn't want to spring for broadband. The trouble is that I can't locate the modem jack. I was expecting it to look like a phone jack, but no such luck. Device Manager tells me that the laptop contains a modem, and Belarc Advisor confirms. Any thoughts? Thanks.
