  1. if you can afford it, Paris, with no doubt !

  2. Annecy in Haute-Savoie

Biarritz on ocean-side by the spanish frontier

Aix-en-Provence 5 miles on top of Marseille

  3. @ Middnigh , i lived during 8 years near of Rennes and St Malo ^^

for me , the most beautiful places in France are in the south-east ...Marseille , Montpellier , Nice .... and small cities near those big city ... wow is really wonderful ! i lived in a very diffenrent place in France , and i prefer "la côte d'azur"

  4. Montpellier if you're student.

    Avignon.

  5. Paris of course, if you want to live in a theater decorum....

There is a wide range of landscape in france, depending on what you like....the atlantic ocean coast (from britany to the spanish border) , the mediteranean cost in the south if you like sunny place, the alpe moutains near italie end swiss border are also wonderfull....

the south west is also very nice and it's certainly the best place to go if you want to try the best french special's (food)...

You can send me a PM if you want more info.

  6. I spent 6 mo. in a city called Rennes, in the NW part of France and I just loved it!  I also recommend St. Malo along the northern coast and Eze in the South.  Good luck and God bless!

  7. i would not live in france but if i did normandy

  8. Reject south-eastern France as corrupt and expensive

and love with no limit Perigord - which is probably one of the most beautiful regions in Europe - My wife has got a farm there and we spent 90% of our vacations there
