Wheres the "meters" on a ruler? or how can u convert it lol?

How many meters are in a centimeter or an inch. Please help? Explain in "easy" words.. 7th grader here. haha.

i have like a protractor.. and a regular ruler.. can i measure something in meters?

Your ruler has inches on one side and may have cm (centimeters) on the other side.  If it does then there will be about 30 centimeters on the "metric" side.  Use the metric side to measure meters.  There are 100 centimeters per meter.
