  1. i believe it is just worsening the situation.

now people are used to get so much money that they don't compromise with less.

flow of money in market is increasing.

rich have got a no of options to increase their money but poor remains poor.

after some years the situation of India will be the same as it is of U.S. and other developed countries.

no one will care about others, children will get spoilt, they will get spoilt, they will not respect elders. there will be a lot of crime in the country.

no one will then remain happy.

and nothing can stop all this to happen.

  2. Let's make clear the def of IT: Information Technology (IT), as defined by the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), is " the study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware." IT deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and securely retrieve information.

However, India still by and large an Agricultural nation like many other third world countries. But most of the land is being brought under IT industries & their allied works.

I do not \know what the people will eat if the government promotes IT industries wantonly. Just because there is a lot money( salary) people are going for it. Hardly anyone wants to go in for agriculture. Government too does not seem to be keen on promoting Agriculture. Other wise a lot of agricultural land will not be purchased for SEZ.

simple thing is that people can't live on Information Technology alone. They need grains and vegetables to cook and eat. But IT person can buy food for any amount of money. Therefore the daily commodities can become expensive for the common man.

India is introducing IT industries in a big way. But has the Government planned on how to dispose of the waste? What  about the 3rd world countries becoming a dumping ground for the waste of the developed nations.

Since money becomes the important thing for transaction government & the individual citizens should think about the changing value system (honesty, & all other values are replaced by money). The next generation is on the way of materialistic society.

Somehow I feel that the human life is losing its value and money is taking over.

I am not against IT industries. But what are the stakes/dangers involved? Looking at the nation’s ground situation (population, culture, tradition, religious affiliations & all other factors ) can we strike a balance? These things have to be seen. But government seem to be falling prey to or currying favour with the developed countries at the cost of  its own people and land. Hence, I think IT Industries the way they are increasing and thriving in our country does not seem to help for the betterment of our nation.

  3. it does help the nation as it brings our nation on the world map in leading tech...it will benefit the economy of the nation( only if the government officials r not so corrupt!) and as far as family goes.. it might not be a help.. but good parenting can take care of it..
