  1. While I whole-heartedly agree with your sentiments,

    unfortunately,activists across the world for abolishing the capital punishment would all be up in arms against such a move.But take heart;there are still a few countries that award the death penalty.India which is probably the worst affected by terror attacks still has not

    thought it fit to enact a suitable law in this regard.We

    still swear by non-violence even when we are violated in the worst possible way.When nations across the globe are enacting laws to do away with capital punishment

    even in cases of the most heinous of crimes like rape of innocent children,do you seriously believe that the UN will have the gumption to frame such a law?Funnily

    though,this very same toothless tiger,did not lift a finger

    when the US and its lackey manufactured false evidence against Iraq and resorted to terrorist attacks to

    subdue Saddam.Not only that but this impotent world body even went to the extent of approving the decimation of a sovereign nation.Not that I hold any brief for Saddam and his dictatorial regime.
