I don't want to hear anything about how he if following Favre, and won't live up to expectations. As a starting QB, how do you expect Rogers to do his first year, and upcoming years?

Personally, I think he will do well this year...with some struggles. He already has a VERY strong group of receivers, along with a running game, and tough defense. Rogers also played very well when he came into the Dallas game last year. 210 yds and a TD against a tough defense. Upcoming years, I think he will become a top 10QB consistently.

  1. i think he will eventually be very good just like you said, he was good in college, and i think that he will get a lot better really fast. at the end of his career, he might be a star, but definitely not right away. by the end of the season, he'll be decent if not better.

  2. He will do OK but not one of the Top QB's in the league like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.  He COULD become a Top 10 QB in a few years but he is very injury prone so idk.

  3. I don't know about him being a top 10 right away but I do think he has a ton of help from the Packers Offense, which I think is being heavily over looked. A-Rodg still has a like to learning left to do but he doesn't have to go at it alone. The packers WR and Running Game will come out solid. I think A-Rodg and the Packers will still win the NFC North this season. they have too much talent including Rodgers.

  4. I think he will put up some good stats, not great but decent. He's gotta put the whole Favre thing behind him and focus on the game. If he does, along with that great offense and defense, he will be just fine.

  5. I think he's going to be a good quarterback.  Obviously he won't be Favre which is what everyone will be comparing him to.  I think he'll be much more by the book and less improvisational.  But from what the players on the team have said, he's got a really pretty deep ball.  It'll probably take him a few weeks into the season to find his groove, but by week 3 or 4, they'll be doing fine.

  6. unsure...practice et cetera

and once favre situation out he may be free to play himself..

  7. I think he'll do good for a ROOKIE qb who is just starting. He might get the Packers close to the playoffs, but that might be it. And even that would be good for a ROOKIE. I'm putting that word in caps because people don't realize that's what he is, so why are they comparing a ROOKIE to a QB who has been staring since 1992.

  8. The running game will make or break him.

  9. he is not FAVRE

and he doesnt have the POWER and <BALANCE> that Brett Favre Has¡¡

and so....he is a good Player but NO excellent player like Brett Favre*¡¡¡

    GO number 4¡¡¡

  10. with the talented offense around him, Rodgers will do well.  Favre had the experience and leadership, Rodgers has the mobility and has been very professional through the entire Favre Sega.  It shows that Rodgers has been a team player and not thinking about himself.  I expect the team to rally behind him towards the end of Preseason.  If Rodgers plays conservative and lets his talented WR's perform and get their yards after the catch, Rodgers will put up monster numbers.  If Rodgers becomes a risk taker, i don't think he'll do very well.  i expect GB to go 10-6 at worst this season.
