Whey Protein, how does it help if you are trying to loose weight?

I am trying to loose weight and I have incorporated whey protein into my diet. Basically, I am eating healthy greens, restricted to complex carbs like brown rice & sweet potatoes, lots of protein. I am also exercising 3-4 times a week.

  2. It doesn't. Whey protein is 3 times the nutritional bar for daily protein, it's used to make up for LOST ground and or give your body extra for gaining overall size in muscle and or fat.
