Whhat is the deal...I try to sign in to a chat room and says im in there...but see no room. Then I get a error

I try to get in a chat room and I get your already in a room or signing in to chat took longer than expected. And when I finally get in a room I either see no Text or my cam freezes the room...Please someone help me before I loose my mind. AND GO POSTAL!!!
