  1. i ride a Kawasaki,, but Honda is pretty good to!! =D

  2. OA is correct, Yamaha has been in the 4 stroke market longer than the rest, but everyone else has caught up to them in terms of reliability. There are no bad 250F's anymore. They all have different handling and power characteristics but that is the only real difference. You can't go wrong with any of the 5.

  3. All the bikes are a very good choice, but it all comes down to which bike will fit you better. Kawasaki and Yamaha are known to feel bigger, as the Honda, KTM and Suzuki have been known to feel a bit smaller.....

all the bikes have excellent reliability, if you plan on maintaining them....

there is no clear cut better bike, because every rider is different and all of our riding styles are different. What bike I like and fits me well, may not be the bike that fits you.

Here is a link to a popular motorcycle website. Go about half way down and read about all the bikes you may be interested in.......

    GOOD LUCK.....

  4. HONDA by far. a long way. way away.

    yamaha

    kawi

    slozuki

ktm,,, even though they are the fastest and baddest looking.

  5. i have own at least some type of engine made by all of these company. and all i got to tell you is.

    first kick Honda's

    Second kick Yamaha

    third kick Ktm

    push start Kawasaki

    pull start Suzuki.

Honda is the best way to go and that will never change. they make everything the best. there a little more expensive but there well worth it.

  6. Honda is.... BY FAR....the most reliable bike made.  HANDS DOWN!

  7. I ride a 2007 YZ 250F, and Yamaha has the best reputation in this class.  They have been making 4 stroke motocross engines longer than anyone else and their replacement parts tend to be some of the cheapest.  The 07 250f also has the lowest compression of all the other brands.  I'm not sure if that's why that translates into better reliability.

The KTM has the longest service intervals in their manuals but I've never owned one.  I tend to believe that that motor is solid and put together well.  Possibly better than all the other brands.  I don;t have much intel on them

Hondas had valve problems in 04 but I think they have that taken care of.  Great resale value, separate clutch and motor oil  reservoirs that's a nice feature.  I don't like the fact it has dual exhausts, that's a high cost item is you wreck.

In all honesty, if you change your oil and check your valves you will be fine with any.  Do like I did, buy what ever you get the best deal on.  If they all cost the same, go with the Honda, or Yami they have the best resale around here.  RMZ and Kawi ride sweet so you really can't go wrong.  KTM, sorry never ridden one.

  8. honda is the best

have a suzuki rm125 the bike hasn't broke down yet had it for 3 months besides stuff like air filters and spark plugs
