Which 12" sub: Type R, or P3?

Question

I am getting and Alpine mrp-450 400@2ohm, and I am putting 1 12" sub in my 97 neon.

I am looking at either Alpine SWR-1242D (TYPE R) 500rms DVC 4ohm

or

Rockford Fosgate Punch P312D4 500rms DVC 4ohms

I don't have space or a big enough alt to have more than 1 12".

I listen to rap and I like my bass LOUD but I dont want to sacrifice SQ.

Which would sound better?

I'd say a turkey bacon footlong on Honey Oat with provolone cheese, lots of pickles, and Ranch.......lol........I have no clue what you're talking about. I just thought this would be funny.

They are both very good choices. you wouldnt be dissapointed by either one. But if you have to choose id say get the type r
