Which 4WD vehicle has best suspension for rough roads?

The roads in our city are very rough and I'm having to clench my teeth to drive to work. Need 4WD for snow and ice. Any suggestions on which model/make? Thanks.

I would stick to the Four Runner,Pathfinder,or something similar. Reason being that fuel economy are also a concern. I would not look at the Hondas, because they are not built for the type of abuse that you may encounter on the rough roads that you are referring to. American makes are always a good choice,but the high end ones are over priced junk! I wouldn't own a Hummer if someone gave it to me! They are costly to fix,and suck badly off road. I drove one of those fuel hogs in the Army,and they are poorly made, over priced status symbols.
