Um, Derrick Rose hasn't played a day in the NBA yet, so putting him on the list is ridiculous.

Also, putting Derek Fisher on the list while excluding Jason Kidd is laughable.

1. Chris Paul: His confidence to lead and take an entire team under his wing at this age makes it hard not to respect him.

2. Derek Fisher: One of the best people in the league on and off the court, a great dad, and he shows great veteran leadership.

3. Steve Nash: His all out style of play, ability and desire to get his teammates involved, and his character off the court makes the 2 time MVP easy to respect.

4. Deron Williams: A great leader by example and he obviously has the respect of his peers, being asked to represent the whole country on the USA olympic team this summer.

5. Tony Parker: His classy and funny attitude off the court and his good play on the court makes him respectable in my book.

I completely forgot about Jason Kidd. He definately is on my list. The whole USA basketball team has agreed that he is the vocal leader of the team. He does not have the athleticism that the others have on the team, yet everyone looks up to him due to his veteran leadership and good advice.
