Which 52" LCD is better in your opinion Sharp or Philips??

Question

I am looking at a few LCD TVs here and wondered what you guys thought. I am looking to spend no more than $2500, so I may go refurbished. Ideas??

I agree with the others, Sharp is better than Philips.

By the way, you can get a great TV for under $2500, you don't have to go refurbished!

This site has a great service where you can put in what you want to buy, how much you want to pay, and they will shop around to find you the best deal.  Be as specific as possible with your request and you'll get better results.

He is a little bit right.  Sony XBR is the best.  But Sharp INVENTED LCD tech.  

Best:

1) Sony

2) Samsung

3) Sharp

4) Toshiba

5) Panasonic

All in all, Sharp is a better brand than Phillips.   They have a lower incidence of failure, and provide a more accurate smoother image.

Well if your serious about buying a LCD TV don't

waste your money on either of those crappy brands.

I suggest a nice 46" Sony Bravia XBR, it's exactly $2500 at circuit city now. ( I got mine for $5000 about two years ago

and it's great)
