The best deal on a scooter is, unquestionably, the 125 cc offered by Pep Boys for $1,199.00.  It is made in China by one of the zillion unknown scooter companies but I bought a Chinese 50 cc dirt bike for my grandson 3 years ago, he has ridden the devil out of it since then and, other than changing the oil every three months or so, I have had to do nothing else.  It still runs great.

You may have to call around or go on the Pep Boys website to find this model in stock but it is usually in the Sunday suplement of the Times Disgrace.  Lastly, the difference between 80-100 cc's and 125 cc's is a good thing.
