I've heard that some uni's have a 'soft' list of some sort.

But anyway...The A-levels I'm going to take are;

Law, Early Modern History, Pyschology and Religious Studies.

Does anyone have any suggestions to which a-levels i should be taking for degrees in;

Politics, Psychology, Law, History? :/

Thanks

  1. Politics-Economics, Government, Sociology

    Psychology-Sociology, Maybe some science classes like Biology or Genetics

    Law-Government, economics, sociology and class that relate to the subfield of law you would like to get into. For instance you might want to take some biology if you plan on being a lawyer for a hospital, so you have a basis for possible cases you might deal with in court

    History-Any social studies classes and sociology

  2. If you already know what you want to do at Degree level then you should do that at A-level. Although i didn't do psychology as an A-level i did it for my degree. It was always my understanding that universities look at the number of points you receive. When i did my A-level i did maths and that was always said to have been 1 grade harder than most others but a C in that is the same as a C in anything else. I would recommend doing what your most interested and use your time studying those subjects at A-level to decide which one you want to continue at degree level.

    Best of luck
