Which AFL team has the friendliest & most loyal fan? (NOT hooligan!!)?

Question

For example, for soccer team, Liverpool is well-known has the most loyal fan among other soccer teams (prob) in europe.

I think it might be Collingwood, but any suggestion will be appreciated.

It's better if u can back it up from newspaper article where the fans show dedication to the club.

I would have to say Sydney fans are most loyal and friendliest.  They have are large fan base here in Melb from the old South Melb days, and I have never encountered a run in with them.

has to be my clubs, we have been shocking for a long time buy last year had the 3rd highest attendance record.

not saying we are friendliest though, speaking of that stuff i witnesses 6-8 collingwood hero's yelling up in the ears behind two elderly ladies decked out in their tiger gear, needless to say i put a stop to it, mongrels they were, all of European appearance, will someone have a go at me for saying that?

well it is the truth, almost came to blows with these young clowns and 3-4 of us older blokes.

Loyal, I would have to say it would be between Carlton and the doggies. Friendliest, well not really sure cause you always have some bad apples amongst them. Which makes the all the supporters look bad...

well i know that collingwood have the worst supporters. thats a fact. bulldogs have nice supporters.

I nominate Richmond as having the friendliest and most loyal supporters...they havent won a preimer ship in decades, yet they still have a decent amount of (long suffering) supporters.  Never had a problems with them at a footy match either :)

Want to see loyal fans?

Watch the Geelong v Melbourne game today. The Melbourne fans who turn up today after two first two shellacking deserves a "Most Loyal Fan" medal.

The other loyal fans would be Carlton. 14 straight losses in a row and they still had a good turnout tonight. My hat off to you.

Have a good look around you when you go to football matches every team has their moron supporters, I follow Collingwood and I admit we do have some Feral ones in our club but so do all clubs.

Friendliest would have to be the demons or dogs. most loyal definately richmond out there every week using their creative ability to cheer on the fans. COLLINGWOOD! Mate i dont know what football youve been watching. Most pies fans are rude but yes they are very loyal. Btw i said most not all, don't get me wrond, there are a reasonable few nice pies fans i know.

Friendliest ... I reckon it's the Saints supporters.  Never had a run in with them, never been abused and have sat in the middle of heaps of them (and I'm not the quiet retiring type at a game).

Long suffering much like the Cats were, so a bit of empathy.  Melbourne are pretty good and Maggies are a real mixed bag - they seem to have a fair few hooligans.

Most loyal though - maybe the Doggies fans.  How many times has that club 'gone bust'?

That's just my impression of course.
