I would say to barrack for carlton

because they just had a rough 5 years at the  bottom of the ladder and they are bound to be up the top in the next few years

I don't think any AFL has the 'most passionate' supporters.

But select Brisbane Lions - the team to follow!

Watch the Fremantle supporters when they play WCE; watch Port Power supporters when they play the Crows; watch Geelong's supporters when they play Richmond; & so on.....

They all display varying levels of passion - some more so than others.

Collingwood supporters try & portray an 'image' because they think it is expected of them. They are no more passionate than any other supporters. You only have to read the self-promotional posts in this section, by Collingwood supporters, to see that they are all pushing their own barrow & revelling in their perceived notoriety.

Which club has the most passionate supporters - Collingwood - nothing compares.

Which club should you barrack for?  Go for the North Melbourne (yeah, that's right - we're back to NM) Kangaroos.  We need the supporters more than any other club at the moment, we play a decent grade of football (though won't win a premiership anytime soon) and we are probably the closest 'family' as a club you can have.

We've gone through A LOT of rough times lately and need as many people as possible to stand up for the club.

Clearly Carlton are the most passionate supporters because no matter how bad we are they still rack up 35,000 members a year!!!

Don't support the winner of this year's NAB Cup, it seems to be a curse. For example, Carlton have won it past 2 years and both times have finished around the bottom.

Most supporters are passionate, especially around a local derby or rivalry (Port v Crows, WCE v Freo, Carlton v Pies, etc). Watch some rivalry games (round 3 has a few), and pick out which supporters have the most passion.

If you want to go on membership numbers, Adelaide has the most.

Most passionate, i would say Richmond, Carlton, Collingwood, Geelong. Most Vic clubs have a passionate & loyal support base. Some bigger interstate clubs have a lot of bandwagon support. I support Richmond, but they have caused me a lot of stress over the years......you should get on the Cats, they could dominate for a while to come.

i would say brisbane. i dnt barrack for them but i say them because all teams have enemies such as port power and adelaide crows and freo and west coast where as brisbane dont. they supporters dont get rough they only scream and encourage their team. go for brisbane

I always get abused for being 'one-eyed' and too passionate about my team, but hey we love to be hated.

Plus we have one of the highest membership numbers, and we look after our own.

I have to say the swans-

As soon as you step into the SCG you feel the atmosphere and excitemet.

Some people say Sydney is just a leauge state, but when your at a Swans home game you feel 'No were not justa Rugby League State'.

For example in the 2005 Grand Final after the Swans won-

The aroma and the atmosphere was like- words cannot explain- everyone in Sydney was so excited for the Swans and after that, they became alot more popular.

But dont chose a team based on what other people say-

Chose a team on who you think you shoud chose
