  1. Most dolls are special to the people who buy them because they look like them, they enjoy the time period they came from, so to everybody their own doll is the most worth it

  2. They are great fun. They are historical and I used to love playing with them until I reached my age now: 13. Last year I played with them less and less until now when its a once a month creative thing I do to act like a little 4 year old again. I would say get one, if you or your daughter or niece want another and they are under 11, get em another one. At 11, stop buying them clothes and new dolls. In all honesty, the are amazing when you are young, but eventually you want something new. Also, the mothers that answered this question are looking at it from a mom's point of view. I would take advice from someone who lived it. Also, I think that the rarest doll is Lindsey from 2001 because you can't buy her really anywhere now. I don't know which answer you are looking for but I hope I answered it well.

  3. in my opinion, none of them. it's a real gimic. my daughter begged me for them and then got 3, she never plays with any of them. don't get any-she'll get over the phase before you know it and then ask you about a cell phone.

  4. worth it? they all are.

  5. Well, it depends on what you like.  Who's story is interesting to you?  When I was little, my mom gave me the "Meet Kirsten" book because her story was a lot like my family's story (immigrants from Sweden who move to Minnesota).  She was special for me.  My cousin liked Molly because she has glasses.  So, for everyone it's different.  And my sister-in-law loved Addy when she was young because she really liked her story and her accessories (the quilt, trunk, etc).
