  1. Roddick. But, he needs to slow down and stop being so hyper. It's like he has no patience and needs to get off the court, quickly, because he has other priorities.  He's playing for millions, after all.

  2. prolly roddick

  3. Honestly, I don't think any American male really can, but if I would have to choose, it would have to be Andy Roddick. Donald Young is still young though, so there may be a some hope there

  4. Andy Rodick

    may be Australia open 2010

  5. Roddick, he just needs to step it up...he's the only american that seems to be hanging around all the time and once in awhile he'll have a good run somewhere but he needs to keep it consistent. he has the best chances at wimbledon, unfortunately that didnt work out too well or at the us open

  6. either roddick or blake.maybe in the US open this year or a few years time.they are still in the top ten so they still hav a chance as long as they are consistent, dont injure themselves and keep improving on their game

  7. None! It looks like the Europeans are going to dominate the sport in coming years, Djokovic, Federer, Nadal...

  8. it wil be a while , america, like australia and other western countries there are to many couch potatoes, well fed kids , lots of obesity, and that's why the europeans have the willpower to leave behind their dreary and poverty stricken lifestyles

  9. if you said ANOTHER grand slam then the only eligible one would be Roddick. And he isn't going to win another one. I guess it would be nice but it's not gonna happen.

We not getting another unless Young, Quarrey or Fish can bring it home

  10. Roddick if he ever has a chance

  11. As bad as he has been playing lately, I will have to say Andy Roddick.  He is still the most talent American male and he can still win a grand slam, but he needs to work a lot harder.

  12. Yeah Roddick is the most likely case. There are a lot of talented young guys, but it's very hard to predict what's going to become of them on the pro circuit. After Roger, Rafa and Novak are done, it's difficult to say who will rise up.

  13. At the moment, Andy Roddick is still the best man.  He's a former U.S Open champion and 3 times Grand Slam runner-up. Even he's been playing bad lately but don't rule him out as this year he already beat the "big three".  But he really have to work on it.  He must add in more variety in his game.  He can no longer fully rely on his powerful and booming serve type of game style cause people start to figure out his game as you can see he had lost to lower ranking player frequently.  When he's serve is down, people really can "eat" him alive.  He's must be patient in playing as he has the impression to me that he always tend to rush off the court when he's on the court.  He must take initiative to hit winners rather than waiting people to make errors. Now the first thing he should do is hire a good coach.  Other than French Open, he really have a better shot at the other 3 Grand Slam but as I said he really have to work on it.

Other than him, I don't see any other player able to grab one.  Blake, Fish are inconsistent in majors.  Querry and Young still too young to have such ability.

  14. Andy Roddick is the only American from the current group who has a legitimate shot at winning a grandslam.

But with contemporaries like Federer, Nadal and Djokovic who are his same age or younger, Roddick's chances of winning another major are slim to none.
