Which Artists write there own music ?

Do any of them have someone write it for them ?

Some write their own lyrics, but its quite common-place for artistes to either:

-  Have someone write songs for them (in which case the artiste would simply perform it based on the writers demo), or

- Have others help to refine the lyrics during the recording process.
