Which Asian city is the most dangerous?

I know Tokyo(Japan) and Seoul(S.Korea) are pretty safe.

Manila(Philippines) can be quite dangerous.

Of the following major Asian cities, which cities are dangerous and which cities are generally safe(safe enough to travel alone)?

I would definitely give 5 for Tokyo and Seoul.

1, Phnom Pehn, Cambodia was the worst for me. Cause my wife got her camera snatched by Two guys on a motorcycle in front of a police check point. The police asked us for money to get it back within seconds after the guys took it and drove off. I just told them never mind. Then they tried to make us file a report that we had to pay for? After seeing the killing fields. The only people left there are the scum bags that did the killings. Nuke it and start over.

I've been to Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Hochiminh, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta. (Never been to N.Korea, Macau and the Philippines though!)

if you're a foreigner travelling alone and you're not familiar with Kuala Lumpur, it's best if you travel by day. Avoid poorly lighted area and alleyways at night.

Singapore is quite safe, as most of Singaporeans travel on foot and there are many people around.

I've heard from my lecturer that Tokyo is also quite safe.

The rest of them, i'm not sure.

apparently Thailand is the most dangerous place for Brits to go to; double died there within a year than the 2nd most dangerous country (India) but I had no problems in any of the Asian cities I visited.

Yes. Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore and most cities in Pakistan are fairly dangerous to travel, especially for foreigners. To quite some extent, cities in the Philippines are also dangerous since lots of people there carry unlicensed firearms and the crime rate is pretty high there. I would rank these places at 1.

The safest to travel are Singapore, Thailand, Japan.
