Chinese entered the labor force in United States for building railroads, nearly 2 centuries ago. Since then, the Chinese food has matured and more palatable to Asian and western palate. Some of this food did not even originate in China, chow mien originated in USA.

Chinese food remains the most popular Asian food world wide.

Indian food entered UK, in 1950s. In UK, Indian food has come to its own maturity. Chicken Tikka Masala was created in UK and not in India. Increasing population of Indians in USA and Australia is making Indian food as a popular Asian food.

It depends on what you're looking for. (subjectively). Be it in taste, blending of spices, presentation, aroma etc.

Food reflects culture.

It all depends on the cook the way they make and present it.I like all Asian foods.But then the same dish prepared at different countries taste different so you can not judge by that.For this you have to taste the dish in their own country.

Well, I think all Asian food has good dishes- but i LOVE sushi, so will go with Japanese food. Tempura is prety good too!

When we lived in Australia we had some friends from India and China, there is no doubt but to the Western palette that Indian is far superior.

Chinese is an acquired taste, the real Chinese I mean not the take away stuff!
