My favorite is Batman from the Animated Series & Justice League, but I've seen alot of The Batman here lately and he's just awesome. Not so much detective work, but he's one awesome fighter.

The Nolan series (Batman Begins & The Dark Knight). He's finally realistic (as most of the comics intended) as opposed to some cheesy cartoon character.

While I love the live action movies, I still have to say B:TAS is my favorite. Overall, its the best portrayal of Batman, IMO.  They show him using detective skills which is rare and even rarer show Bruce Wayne.  He was humanized in B:TAS but they still keep that sharp edge about him.  The stories are classic and hold up to repeat watches.  I grew up with Adam West, loved Burton's movies but feel in love with Batman from BTAS.  

The Batman never really did it for me.  I have a hard time watching some of the shows because of the animation.  But that one with the Jokers sounds like great so I will check it out.

It's a tough call my fella. I really like the whole batman thing, a hero with no supernatural powers. Its like that old saying "gift is for losers" became a man and wore a bat suit.

I'd go with the animated series, and I religiously loved the dark knight and batman begins until people made a serious fuss about it.

Anyway, gotta ask you a question since you seem like a hardcore fan, don't you get this vibe where you think that the joker (the real guy not the one ledger created) is even cooler than batman?

I agree with you,  Batman the Animated Series is the best.  I have all the eps of that great 90's series,  I like the style and layout of that version the best and mark hamil as the joker,  that rocks..

my favortie batman is from the old batman serious with actual people serious that was so funny! i giggled hard while watching that! oh man!...that was so funny to watch.
