Depends what you major in.

Generally speaking, Cal Poly San Luis Opispo is the higsht ranking Cal State out there. In my opinon, their statistics can be compared to those of UCR and they exceed the statistics of UC Merced.

Also, Cal State Fullerton is a very very good cal state for basic study. It offers cheap housing around its campus, and it's a decent campus.

if you want more nor cal, Sonoma State University is also amongst the top Cal States. My brother went to this school, and he relaly liked it. The campus is relaly really beautiful, but let me warn you, there is NOTHING to do around this city minus winery tours and watching cattle travel.

Overall, i think san luis opispo would be your best bet. I would've chosen this school if i hadnt been accepted into UC Santa Barbra, which is an AMAZING campus. GO GAUCHOS!

Definitely California State University in USA, but also there's a Central South University in China that's pretty good, lol.
