Which Canon Digital Camera is the best to buy under 250 dollars?

I've been looking at the Canon 870 because of how slim it is... but I'm not sure if it's the best canon I could be buying for my buck. Any help on which ones people best suggest getting would be appreciated.

The SD870 is great.  You might also want to check out the SX100.  it's the same price and has a 10x optical zoom (the SD870 has 3.8x).  This gets you much closer to your subject.

It's not as slim as the SD870 though.

Once you know which type of camera you want, check out this site.  They'll look around to make sure you get the best deal.

I did a lot of research and found Canon PowerShot SD870 is to be the best camera for the money.

This camera is totally awesome! Takes very high quality pictures at a very fast speed. I highly recommend it for its small size, image stabilizer and long life rechargeable battery.

From the first day I received it. I just love it. Great shots up close and far away. Moreover, this is a very handy, tiny and light camera that you can carry in your pocket without feeling it.

The screen is huge and the colors are really good.

Menus and settings are very easy and clear. Some tips appear on the screen when you are using different modes, it is very helpful.
