Which Caribbean island is the best to live on? cheapest homes? thanks ;]?

The island with the cheapest homes wouldnt be the best to live on...

Alot of islands have cheap homes. But they also have high crime & poverty. Haiti, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, etc.. They have cheap homes, but are not nice to live on unless your wealthy & can live in a gated neighborhood & not have to work. Alot of islands dont have many jobs & the ones they do have arent being given to foreigners either. Visit the islands (not in the resorts, the real neighborhoods) & then see what you think. Save more money & plan ahead because its not so easy to just move to the caribbean, sorry to burst ur bubble. Just letting you know.

I live on my boat in Antigua about 7 months a year and wouldn't consider moving.
