Which Cedar Point tickets should we buy?

We're headed to OH from May 26-29 for an adults only 10th anniversary trip. It's our first trip to Cedar Point, and we're really excited about all the coasters and rides.

Is it worthwhile to buy the "Ride & Slide" 2 day tickets ($72 each) or just get the discounted 2 day Cedar Point park tix ($53 each)? I wasn't sure how warm it will be then or if the water park has well-heated pools!

  1. I would buy the 2 day Cedar Point ones because her in northeast Ohio it isn't nearly warm enough to swim yet. But before you take my advice I would take the weather for Sandusky that week and see if it is cold or warm. It usually has to be about mid 70s-90s degrees to swim. And if it is cold I would buy the buy the 2 day just Cedar Point tickets. And hope you have fun! Cedar Point is very exciting and has a lot of great roller coasters!

  2. I live two hours south of cedar point and about an hour from kings island.  Theres no way where I live that I would get into any water hole right now.  Let alone travel north up to the great lakes where cold air comes from.  Just my opinion, but weather has not be great here in ohio.  Alot of rain and some sun, but not enough to heat the water.  You might want to check the forecast for that weekend!

  3. I'd say the 2-day park only tix, Soak city is not that great of a water park, we go multiple times a year and NEVER get tired of the park.  there is so much to do there, plus a couple water rides in-park, like snake river falls!
