Khabibulin won a Stanley Cup so when the chips are on the line, Nikolai it will be.

and chris what are you talking about huet was a lot better off here how could you be happy he left? we're left with a shaky theodore (i've watched him a lot in the west specially when he gave up leads vs the stars) Im going to be at that home opener too hopefully huet will be in net so he can hear an ear full from caps fans like myself

Thats easy.. HUET (barring injuries)

Khabibulin is on the trading block and CHIC wants to rid themselves of him and his salary... sure he would make a decent backup, but he isnt the answer for the Hawks!

Huet will be the number one goalie if he stays healthy.

Huet IS a starting goalie, and I have always thought he was pretty great.  He has that "cool as a cucumber" attitude between the pipes.  He may be getting older, but I think he still "has it".  Disagree if you wish.

Huet because you dont sign a goalie in the offseason to that kind of money and not play him. Huet will be the most effective of the two

i think Khabibulin will get  a good amount of starts. .. Huet will get most of them though...

i'm a capitals a fan so a watch huet alot but i'm glad he left he hated playin for the caps. so i'm glad we got theodore. i'm going to the home opener oct. 11 against the hawks. i hope heut realizes what a mistake he made leavin

andrew, i'm glad ur a caps fan but  huet obviously didnt want to play with them or  he wouldnt have left. they make enough money if i were a player i wouldnt care bout the money i would rather play for a team i wanted to play for, they pay the scrubs enough. theodore has said in interviews he waited to sign back with the avs to see if heut was leaving. theo wants to play for them he says ovie is the best in the league, which he is. also i'm sitting right behind the bench against the glass.
