Hi Everyone, I'm doing a project in LOTE that requires me to list the good and bad points of france and australia. Then I have to make a decision on which country I think is better. I would appreciate any answers even if it's just "Australia's Better" then I will make a tally and calculate a percentage. I also need to compare things like economy, population, employment, food etc, but any information and opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and gals.

  1. Australia

  2. "Australia's Better" but there are advantages and disadvantages for both countries.

Check out the site it has information for all countries i.e economy, population, etc

  3. france its so much more sophisticated

  4. I visited France and to be honest I hated it.  Yes it was only Paris but I found even if they spoke English, they refused to speak it.  I am a wheelchair user and very few of the train stations catered for this.  The one we used you had to 'ask' for the lift to be sent down.  Of course they would only use French, which we knew nothing of.  After 15 minutes finally a nice chap came to our aide.  That was only one incident, there were many more than this.  We even tried, at one time to say we're Aussies but that didn't seem to make a difference lol.

So I would have to say Australia!  At least we try to understand people and help.  To be honest, I feel we have a much better lifestyle too.  But I guess I'm biased being Australian.

  5. LET me see AUSSIE AUSSIE .

we are the biggest sport capital

we have such a small population

we have non hairy b*****s (sumtimes)

we HAVE THE LADS OF ESSEDON

  6. Australia - better quality of life

  7. Australia is better.

  8. i live in Australia it better! i cant really compare those things to france because i dont know much about that country...but good points about australia would be we have a really good welfare system, scabbing money off our government is SO easy...healthcare is free but really c**p sometimes....Australia is also the worst county when it comes to donating money to foreign aid, were very rich but we don't give much to others....also were the fattest country, obesity is a HUGE problem here.

  9. Australia i live here and it is sooo awsome i have been to france to and it is soo good aswell tho ALL THE SHOPS ahhhhhh lol but i still say australia

  10. I have never been to either, but I have a couple of aussie friends and they LOVE where they live and by what they have told me, it sounds like a great place to live. On the other hand, my brother has been to France and he said it is not what it used to be. It is getting dangerous, dirty and crowded. So... I would pick Australia

  11. france bashes americans, cusses at us, tell us to go back home, gives you bad service at restaurants/cafes, and more if you're american so i like australia :)

  12. Australia for the beaches. France for the food!

  13. I have been to both. In Australia the people seem more relaxed, and more helpful (i don't know if it is due to the fact i cant speak french?!). In my opinion the food is much better in Australia too, as it is mostly fresh seafood, as we stayed close to the coast. And in general the time i had in Australia was amazing, i spent 3 and a half months there, and enjoyed every moment.

  14. AUSTRALIA

    for sure!

  15. Australia is better because we have kangaroos and tim tams.

    And a better football team.

    And nicer beaches.

  16. off course Austrlia!

one of my friend came to Australia from france just because of its a multicultural and pecaful country!

In france evrytime u see fights and blood shed

  17. I live in Australia and it's great mate lol

  18. this is a dumb question! no country is better. and its a dumb assignment too. go to wikipedia or something and  you know, RESEARCH. every country has something beautiful about it. france has amazing food, art, and history. australia has amazing friendly people and beautiful scenery. think about it.

  19. This is so subjective.  Really they are both great for similar and dissimilar reasons.
