  2. I love carnival because they had allday activities for kids and plenty for the parents

  3. Disney they will love you for it

  4. Disney.

  5. Disney :)

  6. Disney is expensive.. If you want to pay up to 4 times as much to see mickey then go for it..

Otherwise stick with Carnival they have Camp Carnival and the kids have a blast, plus Mom and Dad get some alone time (if ya know what I mean ..wink...wink.. Who knows maybe next cruise you'll have two kids)

  7. We just came back from a Celebrity Cruise, we had 7 and 9 yo girls and 11 yo boy with us.  The kids LOVED the programs.  The younger children had to be escorted to and from kids club for obvious reasons and 11 yo could come and go independently.  All 3 kids were thrilled with the cruise.  We will definitely go again.  We chose to have the kids with us at dinner everynight and then they would return to the club for activities.  Also, you can have them stay for sleepovers for small additional fee (we didn't take advantage of this, but the opportunity is there).  I think most of the lines have good programs, but I can recommend Celebrity based on personal experience.

  8. Well, the first line that comes to mind is Disney.  However, Disney is fairly expensive.  Other good choices are Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian.  All have family friendly ships with good children's programs and lots facilities that a child can enjoy.

  9. Monarch Classic Cruises. These guys offer quality experience in wholesale rates. Cuurently they giving Athens + Greek islands & Turkey Cruise from $946.These offers are exclusively through clubfreedom membership.

  10. The most popular cruise line for kids will be Disney. However, they are also more expensive than your regular cruise lines.  You are paying extra for the Disney theme cruise.

Carnival and Royal Caribbean will also have the same type of kids programs, just not the Disney theme.  They also have a lot more itineraries.  If you are going to go at Spring Break time I would avoid Carnival. Too many college kids on board.  Royal Caribbean is great year round for kids. Costa Cruises also has some great kids specials.  However, they are more European in their ambiance than American.

Princess and Norwegian are also good second choices.  I would avoid Holland America and Celebrity.  These are great cruise lines but their target market is a little older customer and thus dont have great kids programs.

  11. I have taken my children, now 11 and 14 on three Carnival cruises, and they loved it.  They were never bored, and loved every minute of it.  They got along great with the staff, especially the cruise director.  And the value cannot be beat.  I looked at the same itineraries for the same week at RCCL, and it was about $400 more.  Disney was almost twice as much.
