My list:

1.Mike Vick (he's faster and quicker than most Runningbacks in the game)

2.Pat White- WVU (this guy I think is very similar to Mike Vick maybe not as quick, but still very fast)

3.Vince Young (he's a very good runner, but not quick like a Pat White or Mike Vick)

4.Randall Cunningham (not only is this guy fast, but he also has the height so its an advantage over opposing Linebackers)

5.Donovan McNabb (this guys built like a Fullback, he's not amazingly fast, but he's a good runner)

*Nothing against Frank Tarkenton, but he played way back then. And the game is faster and the defensive guys are bigger, faster, stronger, better.

  1. No, I believe all your guys would get their helmets hand back to them with their heads still in it.

None, of your guys were anything special.  I think you mean Crouch?

  2. Add me to the Mike Vick list. He should have been concentrating on becoming a NFL running back instead of waisting his time as a second rate qb.

  3. Dennis Dixon

Third String QB of the Steelers and should of been Heisman winner if his ACL Season injury didn't happen and would of led the Oregon Ducks to a National Championship and then would of been a first round pick

  4. Got to agree with the last guy. Vick had the legs of a Runningback with the arm of a Quarterback. He was crazy fast and really elusive.

  5. Vick.

I'm skeptical about Pat White and VY is too tall and lanky to play RB.

  6. micheal vick because he never threw the ball and always was the second running back on the team when he was suppose to throw the ball

  7. Ben Rothlisberger because the guy is built like a tank; he'd be hard to tackle.

  8. Mike Vick

    too bad he eats dogs

  9. i wouldn't put any of those guys on the list. my list is

    1.Tommy Frazier Qb Nebraska

    2.Tony Rice Qb Notre Dame

    3. Turner Gill Qb Nebraska

    4. Steve Young Qb BYU

    5. Hines Ward Qb Georgia

some of these guys are old school but hit youtube if you don't know. also if you think im crazy by saying steve young just check his old tapes. he was probably the best running qb in nfl history (starting that is) behind vick and cunningham

  10. I think Vick would be another Reggis Bush at RB.  All hype and nothing to show for it if he was to be a RB.  I'd much rather have a guy that is fast and can run through some tackles.  McNabb is my man at RB.

  11. Dog Killer Vick

    Pat White

    Tim Tebow

    Randall Cunningham

    Aaron Pryor

  12. Pat White is my choice from the players you listed.  Not only could he be an effective NFL QB in the right offense, I think he could excel as an NFL RB in any offense because of his physical build.

Vick is too old at this point to transform himself into a long-term solution as an NFL RB.  He'll be ~30 years old when he gets out of the clink and 30 years old in RB years is like 100 years old in dog-years.  If Vick had become an RB to start his career instead of a QB, he would have been a good one as long as he stayed healthy IMO.

Vince Young is too tall to be an every down back.  6'5" is a good height to get your legs taken out.  Besides, Young's mid 4.5 40 speed is great for a QB, but wouldn't get him past the first line of defenders as an RB.

Cunningham is in the same boat as Vince Young - his height worked to his advantage as a running QB, but it would have been a detriment to him if he were a full time RB.  Cunningham also had such a cannon for an arm that it would have been a waste to use him as only a RB with his height and throwing ability.

McNabb has never been fast enough to be an NFL RB.  He is fast for a QB, but he'd struggle mightily trying to get the corner on NFL defenses if he didn't have the threat of throwing the ball downfield working for him.

  13. Tim Tebow!!! soon to be 2 time Heisman inner

  14. mike vick. was never a QB he was always the falcons second runningback on the field.

  15. JAKE LOCKER from UW!!!!!!!!!

  16. I'd go with Michael Vick.  I'd have Steve Young in the top five over White and Cunningham.

  17. i gotta say...Tim Tebow...maybe the best pure runner/power runner of the QB's.... have you seen him run? enough said......other than that, im on the same page as you when it comes to Randall Cunningham....he was awesome....and one of my fav. all-time....otherwise, Mcnabb and Vick are ,up there too.....Pat White's good....you've got some pretty good picks there....not bad
