Which DVD Ripping program works best with Windows DVD Maker?

Question

I'm not looking for a free program, just one that has good quality output to AVI files and is compatible with the Windows DVD Maker program. I purchased Wondershare DVD Ripper Platinum and the AVI files get stuck after 3% encoding on the Windows DVD Maker.

Use handbtrake(free)

or aimersoft dvd ripper, I use it for a long time, it can easily convert dvd to other video audio formats with high quality, that's really nice, you can check them out here for free

Nero is not as good as before unfortunately, but Roxio is, give it a try! I'm using that right now, and it's quite intuitive, so you do not really need to read the whole manual before taking a plunge in this program!
