Which DVD writer is good LG or Sony?

Hi Buddies,

I want to buy an DVD writer for my PC.

Pls suggest me whether i should buy The LG brand or the Sony brand.Money is not a problem for me pls suugest the gud one which can read scratched DVDs and CDs .

Both are fine. Truth be told, these are commodity things, and nearly all alike. If you need a really stellar drive, track down a used older Plextor, and put that in as a second drive. It will probably only run at say four times, hence the suggestion of a second drive. Also, try Nero's free CD-DVD Speed 4.10 tool which throttles down disc speed for easier reading. It really works on some marginal discs.

Better go for LG rather then Sony cos sony wount allow u to read scratched or non standard disk.

        I recommend LG bcoz the lens is nice in lg and sony doesn`t read scracthed cd and dvd`s
