Also, is anyone familiar with Swords in Co Dublin? Is there a train in Swords that will take us to Limerick City, or into Dublin so that we can catch a train to Limerick? Thanks for any information!

  1. You have to take a direct train from Dublin Houston Station.

  2. sorry the Lusa has not come here to swords yet

  3. no trains at the airport you will be able to get a bus from the airport to hueston stn and then be able to get a train from there.

  4. Malahide would be the closest! Get train to malahide then catch either a bus or taxi! A taxi would be about 17 euro i would think! Very familiar with swords, its just down the road! They don't have a train station. Malahide is nearest station to swords!

  5. Neither Dublin Airport or Swords are serviced by a rail link. Heuston Station in Dublin is the most accessable station in Dublin to go to Limerick.

You can however travel by bus from Dublin Airport to Limerick.  This link gives the timetable and price. http://www.buseireann.ie/site/airport_se...

Check out the links below for bus and train timetables:

    http://www.buseireann.ie/

    http://www.dublinbus.ie/

  6. There is no rail link from Dublin airport but the Airlink Express coach, route no. 748 which leaves the airport around every 30 minutes goes to Heuston rail station in Dublin city centre where you will get a train to Limerick.  The bus and train timetables are at the sites below.

  7. Right,  theres no train station near the Airport, Hueston station is located in town and this provides services throughout ireland such as limerick.

As with getting to the Airport, you can get any of the 16's (except 16C) to the airport. Some of the Stops in the city centre are at O' Connell street, Camden street and georges street, it ll cost ya about 1.60. Other ways of gettin to the aiport are with the air coach which can be got in the city centre as well but will cost ya i think 6 euro.

  8. *to travel from dublin airport to limerick city*

1 get a bus from the airport in onto the city. You'll know you are there from the spiral. For times etc. http://www.dublinbus.ie/home/

2 Walk towards the liffey until you see the luas lines(you will have passed Easons on your right. The luas line is on abbey street with supermacs across the road. Ask if your not sure.

3 Buy a ticket to Heuston station on the red line. Make sure you are on the side marked Tallaght. For more info see http://www.luas.ie

4.Get off at Heuston the fifth stop.

    5. Take the train to Limerick. For timetables see http://www.irishrail.ie/home/

  9. I don't think you'll get a train to the airport. Check out www.dublinbus.ie and look up the 41, 41B, and the 41C All these buses will bring you into the city but I'm not sure which of them will bring you to the airport.

There's no train from Swords.  Again take the 33, 41, 41B, 41C from swords into the city and get the train from Connolly Station.

  10. No trains run directly to or from Dublin airport. There is an airport express bus that will take you to Heuston Station, from where you can get a train to Limerick.

  11. either howth junction or malahide on the commuter train and then get a bus transfer straight to Dublin Airport =)

  12. Dublin Airport is connected by 747 bus route from Connolly Station. For now until the new Metro is built there is no connection with the Airport by Rail.

Swords is connected to the Airport by local bus but has no train link yet.Limerick trains go from Heuston Station and Limerick is also connected to Dublin by Express Bus from Busaras beside Connolly Station and on direct bus route from Swords.
