Which Exam Board Is Best? AQA, OCR or Edexcel?

Which one will be best acceptable when applying for university.

It all depends on the subject - but I found that OCR states the question the clearest.

i think it depends.

for gcse...

AQA = RUBBISH in science, i mean i sat that exam and i think i failed

OCR - good i reckon, because they have easy to understand questions

EDEXCEL = require a huge amount of writing but i think they are the best for languages

for a levels however:

AQA = hard. again. words cant describe it

OCR - these aren't too bad if you get the right books and revise, they tend to lift questions straight out the paper

edexcel = not too bad, but i think its a lot to learn for this board

I did read that Edexcel were criticised for being too easy (I haven't had that experience). I personally prefer OCR, as they were the only exam board that gave me B's at GCSE lol

Since they're all recognised examination boards I don't think there is a "best", although each has "specialities", you could say. OCR is possibly the best known, since it's the very memorable and impressive-sounding "Oxford and Cambridge" - but maybe that's just my view of things.

OCR - The only reason being that the information is presented easily and it is clear what students need to be doing. Edexcel are useless at times...often had issues with not knowing what students are meant to be doing in exams!

I would say OCR because their questions are short and clear and are easily understood. AQA is not too bad too but I prefer OCR. Edexcel do not clearly state what they want people to do. Some questions were quite confusing for two of the exams I took by Edexcel. They are quite tough as well when it comes to grading exams.
