  1. Of the games I've beaten:

    1) Chaos: A huge amount of HP in comparison to the rest of the game. Hits very hard (usually on your entire party in a signle attack) and periodically casts Cure4 (aka FullCure), so there is a definite minimum to how much damage you have to do to have a chance of ever killing him. Plus, there's no way to regain spell charges on the way through a dungeon, and you have to fight harder versions of all the main bosses on the way through as a brutal gauntlet, so you won't be anywhere near top shape when you get to him.

    4) Zeromus: Big Bang is an undodgeable all-targetting attack that will usually one-shot 2 of your characters and two-shot the rest.

    7) Sephiroth: Extremely hard if you have no Ribbons, but a complete joke if you have at least 2 of them.

    10) BFA: Can be tough if you don't have Zombie Attack or ZombieStrike weapons, but otherwise pretty easy.

I'd have to go with Zeromus at max level, and Chaos at the normal level you'd fight them at.

  2. I'd have to say the final boss of 9 was pretty tough with all the statuses he threw on your party. Sephiroth was pretty easy even without knights of the round.

I had a little trouble with the final boss on FF8, but I just kinda played through it, didn't really care for 8 in the first place. Plus they implemented the whole, when your party levels so do the enemies. So you couldn't use the old level your characters to overpower the enemy trick.

  3. Sephiroth is no joke of a boss fight, especially if you lack knights of the round, I'd put him at #1 in the Final Fantasy series.
