I already have a seperate moon/lunar light so I just need two Fluorescent tube lights for the daylight. It is a 29 gallon eclipse tank. with over 40 lbs of live rock, some coral (bunch of polyps) , 2 clown fish, 1 green manderian, a large hawiian feather duster, some little craps an snails, etc..... Should I get the corallife 10,000 K or 20,000 K....does it really matter??

  1. It all depends on the types of fish and corals you are keeping. I would probably go with the highest light out put your tank can handle. I would definitely try the 20,000K output.

  2. If you use 10,000K bulbs, I would also recommend using actinic to add to the blue end of the spectrum.  20,000K would be a better idea, and a bit more "balanced", especially if using something like T-5s that will direct nearly all of the light towards the tank with the proper reflectors.
