Which Graphing calculator should I buy

I have just started college and I want to buy a graphing calculator. Which of these do you recomend:

TI-84 plus silver edition

Voyage 200

Ti-86

TI-89 titanium

additional info: i'm going to major in biology and i'm taking pre-calc right now.

  1. Find out what calc your math profs use. So they can help you learn how to use it

    I really like my TI 89, it's not too big but it still does the reductions and pretty print.

If you will be taking calculus soon, then the TI-89 is the best trade off of value and functionality.  It does a lot of calculus operations (differentiation, summation, limits, integration, etc), has great graphing capabilities (polar, rectangular, 3D, etc.).  Unlike its big brother the Voyage, it has a standard form factor, meaning it is less likely to be prohibited from tests.  It has almost all of the functionality of the Voyage but at a much better price point.  It is the best for the cost out of what you listed.
