Which Greek Island should i visit?

Question

I am looking for a greek island to visit that has great food, the great white washed buildings, beaches and is not touristy. I would like to feel like a local. I have heard alot about santorini and its great views but it seems too much like a tourist island with the fancy hotels and beach chair lined beaches. any advice on which island and an explanation why would be great?!

try to go to Poros , its due South of Athens about 2 1/2 hrs by boat or 1 hour by the seacat service.

this island is amazing, and it is not touristy. sit on the harbor area at night and you will love it. hidden gem look at the pictures on the link below ..book now !!

Mikronos is absolutely beautiful!!!

MYKONOS AND RHODES ARE TWO OF THE MOST TOURISTY PLACES...so i think that Skiathos or Paxoi or Lesvos or Zakynthos or Kefallonia or Leukada would be absolutely great!

Naxos..downmarket from the rest..Santorini is a rip..2 days at the most..Naxos..you can disappear and reappear at will.(Here come the Greeks with the thumbs down.)

Lesvos

Its located in the northeastern Aegean Sea. It is also the third largest Greek island. Its exceptional sunshine makes it one of the sunniest islands in the Aegean!

the people are really friendly and there are few tourists compared to other greek islands like Mikinos, Santorini ect...

BTW the beaches there are the best!
