  1. Samsung......brilliant picture

  2. Panasonic.

  3. Samsung all the way

  4. mitsubishi makes the best

the DLP will blow your mind with its vivrant colors and crisp picture

  5. Okay first of all make sure you buy a TV that has 1080p output and not 1080i, there is a difference and especially if it's going to be atleast a 40".

Now don't be fooled by big brand names, for example there is a company called TECO, they make TV's under their name, but have Samsung screens inside them and they are atleast 30% cheaper at retail, so they would make sense.

There are many other aspects you need to deal with, i'll start with contrast ratio, if your going to buy a 40" TV make sure it's at least 3000:1 or you will get a poor grainy image, now if your going to buy a TV for video games, make the console has the correct port, for example PS3's use HDMI and XBOX360's can use VGA and HDMI depending on which version you have.

FiT engine is also very handy, as is Picture in Picture, sometimes, TV's come with built in Freeview which can be helpful, if the TV is in a bedroom and you can't connect the sky dish there.  Obviously make sure it has HDMI ports as they are becoming a standard on most HD devices, 2 or 3 is usually standard on decent TV's.

Another good idea would be to check around to see wether some places have the same model, but at a cheaper price, I could recommend a place, but I wouldn't want to sway your decision, so email me if you want to know.

  6. 42" Polaroid. They have really nice quality image for a great price.

  7. Go for the SONY KDL40W4000. It has everything needed for the future (except FreeSat installed). Full HD, multi HDMI connections, and 24fps capability for flawless hi-def Blu-Ray playback. Can be got for about £950. It really is one decent bit of kit. You'll get what you pay for.

  8. Samsung 40'......the black glossy one...

the best ever..... my next will be the same upgraded one....

    i love it..

  9. The one that is currently recommended by the experts (as opposed to people on this website) is the Pioneer PDP-LX5090.

It'll cost you about £2,500.  But "the best" always costs big money, doesn't it??

  10. I hava a  Sony!
