Which HandyCam is better DCR-HC54 OR DCR-HC62?

Sony DCR-HC62 (1/6" 1M CCD + 25x optical Zoom)

it has a higher M thank the other one, and you really don't need a high zoom. unless your filming animals and stuff. if you're filming wildlife, and fast moving things, go with the other one, because if you can't catch up with whatever it is, you'll need the higher optical zoom. but if you're just filming your kids party or somthing the DCR-HC62 would be better for it. it all depends on what will be key in your usage of the device.
