  1. Vrod ... would be the only HD I'd ever get on

out of those 3...prob. the Rocker C

  2. I like the softails better than the dyna's, and I know the Rocker is getting excellent reviews, a lot of people really like them. I would take the crossbones though, I like the blacked out look of the bike, and the springer front end.

  3. ALL OF THEM

  4. Fat Bob, that CNC Guy sound like a really stupid idiot, doesn't he? He should get his facts straight before he shots his idiot mouth off.

  5. The Rocker looks the best.

The fat bob........never been a fan of the "Fat Boy" models.

But I did like the rap group.

  6. sit on all three and the one that fits your butt is the right one.... you will know when you sit on it

  7. Really makes no difference I will wave as I blow by on my Victory. I do have to hand it to Harley that they can install a tricycle seat on the primered Crossbones and convince people to buy it for close to $20K. Be sure and get the 96 C.I. so we can laugh at you as you idle on 1 cylinder so you don't overheat !  Ha ha ha ha ha ...........................................

  8. Rocker C.......s**y!!!!

  9. Dyna wide for around town and shorter trips.

    Ultra Classic for touring.

  10. i picked a crossbones already (and then some old bag backed over it)

really i only picked the crossbones because i bought it for quite a deal and wanted to make $$$ on re-selling it

i'm a fan of springer front ends, so it's my favorite of the lot you mentioned

i'd never buy a new harley though, let someone else eat the initial depreciation and then what i buy it for is a good value for 2 years = free riding

    here's what i don't like...

    crossbones

is setup on an fl bike, should have been an fxsts... more in line with the bobber look they wanted.  the "custom pinstriping" is mass produced and identical... i'd rather make a bike my own, not like any other/every other

    rocker

it's like harley is trying real hard to make a bike look like a 1 off custom someone put lots of elbow grease into creating... and then mass producing it.  i happened to like that chopped rear fender with wide tire look on an fxst.... but now anyone with a credit card can buy that look instead of creating it... and it pisses me off.  you should get that look from creativity and hard work, not brining in money to a dealer.... i think it's a rub bike

    fatbob

those headlights are fugly, the bike is a bit small, really, it's just an fxd with black engine paint and wide rims

i'd still ride any one of them though, don't get me wrong

the only hd's i wouldn't want to own personally are electraglides... and i may grow into liking them, but i see them as bikes for the 55+ croud... and i aint that old!  streetglide/roadglide are still fine by me

to answer you though.... i'd pick crossbones again over the others, but that's my tastes, yours are likely different

  11. What ever fits you best.  I bought an 08 Dyna Lowrider because it fit me better and I can customize it for touring with plenty of parts available for this line.  All the harleys look sharp and can be customized.  Fatbob "may" have more accessories available.  I would first look at fit, and how much can you make the bike more geared to the type of riding you plan to do.  Also, keep in mind the things that may be troublesome to change.....ie color of engine (gray finish, black, or chrome- which do you prefer-this is long term).  Just keep going to sit on all the bikes and your bike will leap at you.

    Good luck

  12. Rocker -C , test drove all 3 the rocker is suprisingly smoth riding machine , no vibrations at all and the fat rear tire is sweet , its harleys versions of a chopper with out the vibration

  13. Rocker.... I don't even know her. LOL

    I like the Crossbones

  14. crossbones, then i could sell it to sn00p

  15. The Rocker C is the one to buy if you only want to ride solo and maybe for short rides take a girl 10 mins or less.

The Fat Bob is an ok ride.

THe Crossbones is very much like a bobber in style and will have low resale value.

Always look at what you can sell the bike for in 2 years, before you get the bike.

If you are spending this much on a bike, why not buy the one with a full fairing. If I had it to do over, that would be my choice.

Due to wind or bugs and rain if your ever caught in it, they rule.

Also consider that they have floor boards, which are better for longer rides and you don't have to wear boots with floor boards. Because of the heal shifter.

  16. "Imreallyoldandwantolooklikeeveryone"

o wait that's every Harley model

  17. What answer don't you want?

example "I want a bit of crossbone and a bit of rocker"?

    Snow Man

  18. the rocker steers hard at low speeds, has a very hard seat, and is not comfortable for larger riders. The fat bob is more comfortable,  handles better, and is easily upgraded for comfort etc.

The cross bones is a cool ride, I like the old school look of the springer front end, even if they did add that ugly shock to it. The seat is not great and sits to far forward. I like it for around town and bar hopping.

I took part as a road captain on the Harley Demo days rides. I was able to ride all the new model Harley's  for 4 days straight, including some of the screaming eagle bikes. My favorite bike is a springer soft tail ( I prefer my ultra for trips etc) but the springer soft tail has old school combined with new school, rides GREAT!! handles really well and is fun to ride.

    ride safe

  19. I ride a street bob now days but out of those I would go with the Rocker. It just a cool looking bike

If I have the best answer do I win one?
