Old money meaning the family wealth goes back at least 4 or 5 generations. Other signs are educations at such elite institutions of learning such as Roedean, Cheltanham Ladies College, or Eton and then on to university at either Oxford or Cambridge. Polo, yachting, crew will be big leisure activities, etc. Lots of people with double-barreled surnames. Evryone speaking RP English, etc. You get the picture.
