Which Home Theater Should I Get??

Question

I'm also debating between this other one for $200:

Which one do you guys recommend I get?? I like both... The samsung is more powerful, they both have USB connection, and the Philips has an iPod dock, which is cool and I could use with my iPod.

Recommendations??

Yeah I have a Onkyo system 7.1 that was $400 and I love it I sometimes have to mute it to see if its coming from my speakers or my room!

You can't go wrong with Onkyo.  Mine cost less than 300.

These are both crappy, single use systems. You cannot hook anything else to them, the power numbers are ... inflated, you cannot upgrade the speakers later, etc.

Dont plan to hook an xBox, Playstation, Cable TV box, external BluRay to either of these.

If all you want to do is play DVD's on the included player for a dorm room - either system will work, but when one part breaks, plan to throw the whole system away.

Both of these systems are 'bottom of the barrel' quality.
