Which Horror Movie is More Scarier? Poltergeist or The Amityville Horror?

Well both Poltergeist and the The Amityville horror ,are coming out in Blu-Ray in october . and both horror movies are classics. but which one was scarier to you. and which one day you enjoy more

Well when I was little, Poltergeist used to scare the s**t out of me.

Amityville Horror has the constant pop outs that make you jump out of your skin. Truly though, it's not that scary. Poltergeist has that creepy clown that you want tear apart and the little girl saying "their here" freaked me out. All in all, I'd rather have to watch Poltergeist over and over again than Amityville Horror, but my personal favorite is What Lies Beneath - a total classic!

That is seriously all I can say.

Poltergiest IS creepy though,but I nearly was in tears at the thought of going to sleep after Amityville.

I actually passed the town riding in a car once,I closed my eyes until we left the area...

For me I would say The Amityville scares me the most, a real story and I also read the book. They did exactly what on the book in the movie.

i hate both of them sorry no offense i did see poltergeist back in elementry school and i was freaked out like crazy espeically when the old lady passed out and some yucky stuff came out of her and that tv wow that was creepy when they pulled the little girl inside of it so no i don't watch any scary movies that creepy like poltergeist or amityville horror
