  1. The ECUs for the cars are supplied by a joint venture between McLaren Electronic Systems and Micro$oft. I would guess that most firms have programmers working in-house on bespoke software to work with this unit.


  2. They all use their own software, that they usually develop themselves.

    I know Ferrari teamed up with AMD for theirs though.

    Intel helps with BMW-Sauber's software development.

    I'm not sure about McLaren though.

    I think we're still using Teamworks in the car, I dunno, I don't deal with software.
