  1. One for sure i would say Sahoib Malik f pakistan becoz i believe Yonis Khan can be a bttr captain then malik and more importantly he doesn't show any spark that a captain should have to lead a international side.

and other would be Ramnaresh Sarwan of west Indies becoz the fact tat Chris Gayle looks to me a more inspiring Leader than sarwan but the thing is there was more senior then gayle so automically sarwan was made a captain but now west indies selector have accpt ther mistake and had taken the rght decision to make gayle as a captain.

  2. shoaib malik, rashid latif shudnt have...rashid latif wasnt even one of the top players in the team

q2: shane warne without a doubt...he may have as many controversies etc i culdnt care...this guy is a cricket genius...its well known he's the best captain of australia that they nevr had.

  3. Dear CJ

from India I would say Dravid, Kumble should have got it before

Australia, Shane Warne instead of Ponting

    Rehman

  4. Q1

May be,Sachin Tendulkar should't had been as he didnt find success!

    Q2

& may be Shane Wane who did very well in IPL  or A.Gilchrist[though,he has lead his side few times]

  5. javed miadad

  6. i think Gayle

    Q2. Bravo

  7. Bill Lawry.

  8. Bill Lawry.

  9. There are quite a few who qualify for this, Ian Botham, Mike Denness Bill Lawry, Andrew Flintoff, Douglas Jardine Chris Cowdrey, Javed Miandad to name but a few.

I think that I would have given the nod to Strauss ahead of KP, he did a good stand in job for Vaughan, and has a good cricketing brain, but if KP carries on as he has started, I for one will be delighted for him.

  10. Dravid should never be appointed as Captain.

Ravi Shashtri who has good cricketing brain.

  11. Anil Kumble the weakest captain of team India.

  12. i feel Shoaib Malik is not a right choice, Misbah ul Haq had the potential but never got a chance!

  13. Shoaib Malik~

  14. Chris Cowdrey, who captained England in one Test against West Indies in 1988 (and was scheduled for two, but fortunately picked up an injury that ruled him out of the second match).

Nothing against Cowdrey, but he was a mediocre Test player, who was clearly not good enough to justify his selection as a player. As captain of Kent he was very good, and no doubt could have done a reasonable job for England, but his playing abilities would have taken away the positives of his captaincy.

Rod Marsh would have made an excellent captain of Australia. Look at the work he has done with the Australian and English Academies. Sadly, in his day it was felt wicketkeepers couldn't be captains.
