I MAY join when im older, and im thinking the navy, because my dad was in it, but it also seems fun. Dont say air force, because im just a little bit colour blind. Also tell me what basic trainning is like, and which ones are harder. And if you can, tell me how to get promoted. AND , i live in Canada, plus what are the pros and cons.

I know im asking a lot but i really need to know.

Thanks a ton!

  1. Honestlly i think the marines would be the best choice......dont get me wrong...all branches are great....dont ever doubt that....but the marines have higher standars when it comes to actually becomeing a marine...only the best and the most dedicated become one of the few and the proud...

after goin through the rigerous 13 week basic boot camps,[ that are the most difficult of all the branches,] your trainings will not stop there....you will be sent to work on the MOS (your marine career) of your choice.

if what your looking for is to learn how to become your best and become a part of a lifetime brotherhood then i would look into the marines. after all is said and done, you will be so proud of yourself that nothing will top it....

i wish you luck on your search

    love,

    proud marine girlfriend<3

  2. i think the marines are the best they are trained to a very high standard.

  3. well im enlisted in the army,my job is an 11x infantryman and i got a 9,000 dollar bonus, the army is the only ones that get bonuses just for joining.two of my cousins are marines they dont like it too much, they love the corps dont get me wrong but they say you dont get promoted as fast as the army.good luck!

  4. you cant join american millitary you're canadian sorry :(((

  5. I don't think 1 is better than the other!

My bf is a marine, I just know they've trained him really good!

    0311

He was stationed at Camp Pendleton in by San Diego CA.

Which ever one you go into, just know deployment sucks for the familys & gf's...

    Good luck to you though!

  6. This is a ridicules  question that gets asked over and over again. There is no real answer, each branch has their strengths and weaknesses. Please dont bother to answer.

  7. In order to join any branch in the United States Military, you HAVE to be an American Citizen. If you live in canada, you are a citizen of canada. You need to work on getting American Citizenship first, then when time draws near, talk to a recruiter in all 3 branches and weight the pros and cons according to you from there. After you've done that, you will have a better idea of which branch you'd like to chose.

Everyone here can recommend a Branch of service to you, but we would all be partial to our own branch. This is your life, therefore it is a decision YOU will need to make based on your own thoughts and feelings, not on a personal recommendation from someone on Y/A.

  8. ok i think navy my bro ghonna join he said the navy comes with like a health plan and you get paid more .... so hes going in the navy

  9. marines
