  1. I know how you feel... all my friends are in Public school except like 1 and she is thinking about going to a public high school next year. I use to want to go to public school but from hearing from some of my friends that go to the high school that's in my District I Don't want to go!

I mean I think it would be a good experience and all but it's your decision and You know if you want to go to Public school I think you should if that's what YOU want to do!

But if not then I think you should stick to Homeschooling...

I know that you have bucket loads of homework to do when you home and that's one thing I like about homeschooling is you don't really have home work unless you don't get your school done in the right amount of time!

So I hope in whatever choice you make you have FUN and it's what you want to do!!! =)

  2. high school can be really fun with everyone there saying funny things to the teachers question but it can also be really tough boys, friends, homework and lots of other stuff, if ur lonley when ur being homeschooled then change but personally i love it! just do wat you feel is right, I  find that i am much less stressed and dont have as much anziety anymore.

    Good Luck Hope this helped

  3. i would say go for it...do it for the experience even if it means that homework is a killer and you would have to get up early... College is the same thing...

  4. i was homeschooled too for a year, my junior year, and i like it, but, i have to admit, i did miss high school, the activities, lunch with ur friends, its alot of fun, and the homework isnt that bad, if anything i think homeschool was harder because i didnt have anyone there to explain things to me, and the work was quite alot! but anyway, i wuld recommend u go to high school, its not that bad really, the whole wakin up at 5 in the morning is an exxageration, i would wake up early to get ready, but it didnt bother me, then again i am a girl and i did like gettin ready for school :) but thats not that bad. so, watever u choose, good luck! :)

  5. i was homeschooled most of my life my freshman year i begged to go to high school that was the worst mistake i made it was awful. the next year i homeschooled and graduated through it i wasnt deprived of anything i graduated at 16

  6. all of my nieces & nephews were homeschooled and when it came time for highschool they choose to attend public school. and yes it was a little hard for them in some ways but in many ways they were far ahead in studies than the other kids

they have all been glad they tryed it so far, 3 of them have went on to college, 2 will gradute this yr, another is a sphomore and another will be a freshmen next yr.

but it all depends on what you feel is right for you, don't feel pressured in to any thing, you'll know in your heart what you feel is right

  7. All people are different, but most of my friends who have gone to high school say that they wish they were homeschooed. Hoomschoolers have better test grades becuase it is more one on one so you learn faster, better, and much more than other people. Plus you can do school in your PJ's. I think you should stick to homeschooling!

  8. Your right about homework being murder but high school is a really great oppertunity for you I think you should go for it

  9. I believe home school is better because of the 1on1 learning but it all depends on the child. If they don't like to be at home thay will not learn at much.

  10. It depends on the school, the area and the crime rate.

In ANY event SCHOOL is a structured DISCIPLINED thing.

Some liken it to a prison.  Some schools have white lines and at lunch you can't cross them or you get detension.

If you are tardy you get detension

As a visitor it looks all well and fun, but as an inmate you are stuck.

Now, if you're good at following rules, if you're a nice little soldier and the system is well equipped it can be beneficial

They might have fully equipped shops for plastics, metal, chemistry, video, radio, newspaper.

If they don't it's a homeschool with an old lady baby sitter who takes charge and your mother has no say over it.  You can't fire her.

The teacher has to cover ground and if you can't keep up, too bad.

    There is no hand holding

You don't know, ASK your neighbor.

    It's sluff off time

    It's pass the buck time.

All that happens is the school gets paid a little more because YOu are now there.

The teacher makes their salary no matter what.

  11. i think you should stay home schooled i have gone to high school for 4 years and they were the worst days of my life high school lessons are often disrupted now im home schooled im cleverer now than i have ever been its up to you u could try it for the experience but i think you are probably better off with home schooling because at high school there are really horrible people which bully and at least home schooling you can concentrate and are not disrupted by people shouting out  and the homework is hard good thing about home school is that homework is just the lessons well i hope this helps x*x

  12. Make a list of pros and cons for going to high school. Weigh them very carefully--having more pros or cons shouldn't be the deciding factor, but how important those pros or cons are.

To go just because your friends are going shouldn't be a strong reason to go. But to stay home because you are chicken shouldn't be a reason to stay home. Really think about what would be in your best interests in the long run, what meets up with your goals and desires.
